Chet, you shall be missed! Growing up in Sea Cliff for 22 years (1958 to 1980), you were the one who hooked me on Boar's Head balony. When in Rochester for a convention many, many years ago you looked us up. You were still surprised that it's the only baloney I will eat. When I find a place that sell's it up here, I always tell the story of you and the boy's at the shop and how I loved shopping there as a child with my Mom because you had the best baloney in the world. You will always be remembered! Lay down now and rest with the Angels my friend.

I was saddened to read of Chet's passing. I was a regular customer of his butcher shop from the time he opened it until we moved from Glen Cove in 1970. His friendly manner and professionalism will always be fondly remembered.

My sisters and I were so saddened to hear about Chet's passing. We want you and Sandy to know that we are thinking about all of you. Our Mom, Connie only had praise and wonderful things to say about Chet. I remember seeing him at your local grocery store in Glen Cove, when I was working on a special assignment in your area, maybe 6 or 7 years ago. The picture of him on the website is exactly how I remember him. I will keep all of you in my prayers. I am so sorry for your loss. Love Diane (Connie and George Kunz's daughter)

It brings great comfort to know that Chet is not suffering anymore, as he clearly demonstrated to all that have met him or have known him, that he was a very special human being and will be missed by all especially our family. I know the "cow bell" must be ringing now!
