Obituary of Geraldine T. Rubenacker

Rubenacker, Geraldine T. of Glen Head, NY on March 11, 2018 at Age 84.  Beloved wife of Al.  Loving mother of Mary Kahrs (Jim), Al Jr. (Beth), Eric (Remy) and Stephen (Kate).  Adored grandmother of 7.  Cherished great-grandmother of 2.  After obtaining her Bachelors and Masters Degree from Queens College and CW Post, Geraldine Rubenacker worked as an Educational Advocate for SCO family services in Rockville Center until retiring in 2001.  

She was an active volunteer in the community, including the Glen Cove Hospital Auxiliary, where she served as a past treasurer.  Additionally she taught religious instruction and served as past president of the mother's club at St. Boniface Martyr Church in Sea Cliff.  For the past several years, her and her husband Alois were faithful parishioners at St. Hyacinth in Glen Head.

Visitation at Dodge-Thomas Funeral Home, Glen Cove, NY on Sunday from 2-5 and 7-9pm.  Funeral Mass on Monday at St. Hyacinth RC Church, Glen Head, NY at 10:45am.  Interment is Private.  www.dodgethomas.com
