So sorry to hear that such a wonderful man, your husband Gil, has passed away. Alicia, please accept my condolences as well as my children's and Aunt Rita's. I'll always remember his great smile and easy going way and walks after Thanksgiving dinner with your father and both of you taking me under your wings while I was down at CW Post College. Candles have been lit and prayers are being said for you and his siblings. Love to you, my cousin.

To my Godfather Uncle Gil -- I am so proud that you were able to sponsor me for my Confirmation to guide me through the journey of the Sacrament. I was very nervous that day and you made it comfortable for me and hung out with me, giving me the support to get me up there. Thank you for being there for me on that important day in my faith. In fact, it wasn't long after that I decided to become an Altar Server. That day was a milestone in my life that is unforgettable. I will miss you and will cherish the memory of you with me on that day for infinity and beyond. I know you are up there with the King of Kings! God Bless You!

We go back a long way “Gillie”, from making tents out of bedsheets to receiving Holy Communion together. You helped me with my homework, taught me how to read Roman Numerals, play 8-Ball, and steer a sailboat into the wind. We’ve stayed in touch over the years and for that I will always be grateful. My family and I welcomed the visits that you and Alicia made to the farm. Watching you be able to relax and just be, was oh so gratifying.
I will miss out chats, your tender heart, great smile, contagious laugh and your, “is that so?” or “I hadn’t known that” phrases.
I’m saddened that you were called home so soon, but thy will be done....everlasting life is yours. May you be embraced by the angels and especially the love of your dear parents. God Bless your heart dear cousin. I love you
