Obituary of Joann Senecal

SENECAL, Joann (nee Sullivan) of Bayville, NY on March 9th, 2020. Beloved wife of Charles "Bob". Loving mother of Joy Lynn Sullivan (Jimmy) and the late Robby (Mary Rose). Cherished grandmother of Robby & Christopher Senecal and Seamus & Shannon Sullivan. Her surviving siblings are Bernice Harvey, Wallace Sullivan, Allene Brewer, Joyce Mullis, Betty June Griffin and Joe Sullivan; and she is predeceased by her siblings: Bobby Frank Sullivan, Mary Frances Daniels, Jeanette Stephens, Curtis Sullivan Jr., Eustice Sullivan, Emma Ruth Landers, Charles Sullivan, Laverne Westmoreland and Johnny Sullivan. Cherished aunt of 39 nieces and nephews, as well as great and great-great aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Joann came to Bayville from Georgia to work at the Pig-In-Whistle in 1962. She then worked at the Glen Cove Senior Center for over 34 years as the site Manager, a job she loved dearly.

Visiting will be on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at Dodge-Thomas Funeral Home of Glen Cove. A Funeral Service will be Saturday 10am at the Village Church of Bayville. Interment to follow at Bayville Cemetery.
