I am so sorry for your loss. Jed worked for my family for years doing surveys for my mom and dad, my sister Robin, my Aunt and for myself. He was such an honest, sincere and professional individual. I remember receiving a bill for a sub-division for my aunt. I called Jed and said the bill was too low, as he forgot some dates. He laughed and said "You are the first person Barbara in my 50 years of doing this, that the bill was too low" (this was in 2012) I will miss him terribly. Barbara C. Miller

Dear Aunt Mariema and Family,
I am so sorry for your loss and pray for comfort and peace during this difficult time. I have always thought of Uncle Jed as a strong Family man. He was funny in his quirky way and always seemed so cool and unfazed. I found this picture of him and my Mom at my wedding.and think it shows it all. We will miss him!
Love Lici (AKA Alicia Morin his Niece)

Jed's wealth of knowledge, and generosity to share unconditionally with many was too great to ever be known. I was just one of the many, and will always be grateful for the impact he has had on my life. He was truly a great man and great practitioner of Land Surveying & Engineering to historic proportions.
To Mrs. D and family.....my deepest deepest condolences.

I first met Jed in 1950 when we were playing freeman football at Chaminade HS. Years later,
our Varsity Coach told me that Jed was the best fullback he ever coached. I can also add
that Jed was a Titan of a man.
From 195o to all the ensuing 71 years, in various situations, when it was 4th and a foot,
I knew the best call was to give the ball to Jed That is the kind of guy he was.

Jed was my boss for many years. He was an amazing example of a Christian man, always cheerful, eager to teach the next generation. He was so funny sometimes. He made working for and with him fun and all of us alumni felt very special and privileged to have been given the opportunity to be in his professional company. He always said that there was no such thing as a stupid question and always encouraged additional learning. I will miss you Jed.

Jed was a mentor and friend to so many of us in the surveying and engineering profession. His unassuming yet quite confidence were just a couple of his admirable attributes. Jed's knowledge of the north shore in Nassau County was a treasure that will be missed. God bless and prayers to the Dioguardi family. Kevin McAndrew

Inspector Lance Madrod aka as Uncle Jed left many warm memories with me. On one incident, Inspector Madrid called my hotel room and wanted to know if I had been drinking and if so, I needed to report to the lobby. This happened during my sister Michele's wedding and caused a good laugh to everyone except me, since I was concerned for under age drinking . It took me two years to think this was funny.
Uncle Jed, thank you for your love and concern for your family. I miss you, but look forward to catching up with you in Heaven.
