Condolences to the Kurt R. Schmeller’s Family. In 1998 City University of New York at Bayside “QCC Tigers Tennis Team won state championships and got the opportunity to play in National Athletic Competition shortly thereafter as I and my teammates celebrated our national bid. Notwithstanding this my fondest memories are derived from standing on the stairs near our campus library where I recall Mr. Kurt R. Schmeller walking with his suit and father glow knowing he was guiding so many children during their education at CUNY Bayside as I graduated in 2001 with an associates degree. Condolences to his family and our community.

To my family, I am keeping you in my prayers as you get through this difficult time. My Papa (Wolfgang) and Aunt Tanya have told me many stories of their sibling adventures together. Papa has been talking a lot lately about their boat ride across the Atlantic, their life in Germany and the shenanigans they would get into in high school. I know Papa and Tanya cherished their time with their brother and miss him deeply.
All my love,
Kirsten Muck (Wolfgang's granddaughter)

Grateful for the education that he worked so hard to provide for us. I cherish the first art show I saw on the Queensborough campus for Andre Girard and the opportunity to work with many great teachers there. May he rest in a well deserved peace. Condolence to the family.

Kurt was a classmate of mine at Binghamton Central High School, class of 1955. Good fellow and very smart. Clearly Kurt had a very successful and productive career. May he rest in peace and may his family be consoled by all of their fond memories. Bill Burtis, Vestal, NY
