Double D as I have so fondly called him. The man that never gave up on the Redskins for as long as I knew him in the US and backing them. I remember his little Toyota Corolla with full RedSkins colours and memorabilia. I remember us being pulled over in that lil car for doing 60 on a 30 zone by a policeman in an unmarked car back in 1994. I have fond memories of Double D making that amazing Pizza and baking lovely bread back in Fair's Rust. Double D was always cool riding his bike both in Guyana and in the US. I will miss him I trust we can all let his memory live on in our hearts. May His soul find eternal rest and rise in glory.

My earliest memory of Denis was when he showed up at my house on a Sunday afternoon on his bicycle. Which he rode from Linden to Georgetown, to stay at our home. In preparation to start his 1st day of work at Demico house as a chef. I was so in shock that he was able to ride that far. At that time I didn't know that he was athletic or that he was in the military. He rode that bike to work everyday. He would leave the bike in the house and go back home to Linden in a taxi on his days off. He made this ride multiple times.
