My Aunt Marie was never one to mince words when it came to expressing herself. I recall a short conversation we had the last time I visited with her in the summer of 2015. We had walked out onto the deck overlooking the back yard at 18 Maple Ave. She asked, "So, do you remember this place Randy?" Me: "Sure, we used to either climb over or crawl under that fence back there and wander around the neighborhood." Aunt Marie: "Do you remember Clancy?" Me: "Yeah, he was your Irish Setter." Aunt Marie: "Well, he used to get out of the yard too, and go running all over town. We'd have to get in the car and drive up and down the streets looking for him. Sometimes I wished he never would find his way home......Dumbest damn dog I've ever seen!" Me: "Really." Aunt Marie: "I was glad when he finally died." Apparently, Aunt Marie did not share my fondness for K9 family members (I currently have three dogs). Nevertheless, she always has been and will always be my very, very favorite Auntie. I love you, Marie. May you forever Rest In Peace.

We will remember Marie’s friendly, optimistic, kind personality, who had a contagious zest for life, and who loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren with all her heart. God blessed Marie with a long, beautiful life and she will continue to live on in the hearts of her family always.
