Obituary of Maria J. Gioia

GIOIA, Maria J. of Glen Cove, NY on December 25, 2022, Christmas Day at Age 88.  Beloved wife of the late Guido H.  Loving mother of Joseph Tonelli (Eileen), Vincent and Cynthia.  Dear sister of Michael Salamida (the late Lucille).  Cherished grandmother of Joseph Tonelli, Tarah Tonelli-Negron and Andrea Tonelli-Henry.  Adored great-grandmother of J.J., Andy, Joseph, Blake, Noah, Scarlette, Luciana and Nicolette.  Also survived by loving nephew Michael and niece Lisa.  Visitation at Dodge-Thomas Funeral Home, Glen Cove on Thursday 2-4pm & 7-9pm.  Mass of Christian Burial at St. Rocco RC Church on Friday at 10:00 am.  Entombment to follow at Holy Rood Cemetery.  A donation may be made in her memory to St. Judes Childrens Hospital or Schneider's Childrens Hospital.
