Jerry was a kind and wonderful friend. I will miss his visits to our office to say hi and drop off a magazine or the best blueberries from his garden. He visited only about 2 weeks ago with a magazine in his hand and a smile on his face, not knowing that was the last time I would be seeing him. Jerry the hug I should have given you that day and the words I should have spoken are Love you and that I cherish our friendship over the many years.- You are already missed. Love to you your family and Lubah, we are here for you if you need anything.

I was so sad when Roby told me Jerry passed away. I haven’t seen you Lubah or Jerry for years. However I have such found memories of us all being together for the Jewish holidays. We’d have such a good time and I loved you and Jerry. You were such a good friend to Roby and I loved Jerry’s accent and sense of humor. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the family. I was saddened to learn of Jerry's passing. The times I was with him I was always impressed by his kindness, his sense of humor and his keen intellect. He was truly a unique human being. I hope his family and friends may find strength and comfort through the many fond memories they have of Jerry.

I will always remember Mr. Cohen as a man who was tough but funny, shrewd but kind, dogged but generous. His sly smile, (quite) firm handshake, and most especially that twinkle in his eye bespoke of his open heart, steadfastness, and unique vision.
