Some of my fondest memories of Judith were our weekly golf outings in the 1980s and 90s: were we were both attuned to nature around us, not just where our golf balls were headed. The soaring pair of red-tailed hawks overhead, the bees investigating the thyme plants by a certain sandtrap, the native grasses in the rough always caused us to pause and take it in. I shall miss my friend greatly!
