I worked with Perry before, during and just after the Covid epidemic. I admired him for his discipline and good humor through difficulties that would challenge even superheroes.
He fascinated me with his inventions in the area of perpetual motion, devising ingenious moving models with wood, glue, ball bearings and magnets. I’ve never met anyone with a mind like his and believe I never will again.
We spoke of nature, family, his hopes and dreams and music. He taught me a lot about music.
I send my condolences to his loving family who did so much for him.
