Joan and I offer our condolences to Fran, for the premature loss of Chuck, her loving husband, and to Augie and Theresa for the loss of their loving father. He was called too early in life and will be sorely missed by his family and friends. Chuck and I used to spend time together. I recall one memorable deer hunt wherein Chuck proudly bagged a deer he contributed to the Venison Dinner held annually at the New Hyde Park Inn. That dinner was an affair Chucks' dad, August Sr., Chuck, and I always enjoyed attending with many of our friends from the Mineola Police Department. RIP cousin.
