OPPIZZI, Charles of Sea Cliff, NY on January 10, 2017 age 86. Former proprietor of Sea Cliff Books & Prints. Mr. Oppizzi taught English at Oceanside High School for 25 years. He was a member of the Glen Cove Senior Center including the Golden Voices Chorus, the North Shore Community Chorus, volunteer at Garvies Point, the Welwyn Preserve, and the Sea Cliff Beautification Committee. Beloved husband of Carolyn. Loving father of Michael and Patrick. Step-father of Susan Scheiner and Mara Scheiner Campbell. Dear brother of Julia Cappadona, Rosemarie D'Angelo and Evelyn Giacoia. Step-grandfather of Nick, Peter, Jake, Charlie and Emily. Step-great-grandfather of Justin and Lilly. Gathering at Dodge-Thomas Funeral Home of Glen Cove on Saturday at 1pm. Interment private.
